Allied Press Products - Cutting Out The Middle Man
In recognising that our customers need to reduce component costs to stay competitive, the Allied Group set about creating our latest division, namely 'Allied Press Products', in late 2002 based at our main operational site at Cradley Heath.
We now have 25 fully operational presses with capacity of up to 150 tonnes, 5 press breaks up to 200 tonnes along with a full range of ancillary equipment covering all types of processes backed with full tool room facilities. This enables us to have full control of the component price allowing customers to take advantage of removing at least one link out of the supply chain, in many cases several links, making savings against the constant drive for cost down.
Working in conjunction with our customers we have proved beyond doubt that we can compete against an ever increasing trend towards third world suppliers and in many cases improve the situation.
